Air Canada Door Buster

The Challenge: Develop an attention-grabbing way of making initial contact with executives at Air Canada for our banking partner, First National Bank of Omaha.

The Solution: A journey that allowed these C-suite level individuals to experience the technology behind FNBO’s text-to-apply functionality, while also including some Air Canada-specific items to increase the excitement. To do this, we retrofitted three suitcases with high-strength foam, cut out spaces to hold two crystal whiskey tumblers frosted with the Air Canada logo, a faux boarding pass, a booklet with additional details on the proposed co-sponsored credit card program, and finally a mockup of the Air Canada credit card.

In order to open the suitcase, the recipient would need to enter a three digit code on the suitcase lock, which they received by opening their personalized luggage tag and texting a keyword to a number. They would then receive a text confirmation leading them to a landing page that showcased the ease with which a real card member could apply to the program, and received their three digit lock code.
